Beyond the postcard beauty of Oregon’s forests, farms, and seasides is the abundant productivity of working landscapes.
In this issue of Oregon’s Agricultural Progress, we explore the work that sustains working landscapes, from rangelands to wetlands. We stroll through urban landscapes, track wildlife in arid landscapes, and hear from people who farm sustainably in cultivated landscapes.
We celebrate the stewards of Oregon’s working lands: cattle ranchers and oyster farmers; ecologists and engineers. They are all of us, working together, to sustain Oregon life and landscapes.
